What an exciting week!  SCARECROWS opens on Saturday.  For anyone interested, Playhouse Nashville's website is www.playhousenashville.weebly.com.  Even if you can't afford the ticket, please let the box office know.  Playhouse Nashville is trying to work on the principle of "Radical Hospitality" so they will often just do a pay-what-you-can or sometimes get you in for free if seats are available.

Great News! Playhouse Nashville will be producing the newly revised version of SCARECROWS WILL NEVER SEE THE SUNSET this coming August 16 - 24.

They will hold auditions this coming Sunday and Monday, July 13 & 14.

So this weekend is the Tennessee Theatre Association's fall festival, of which I am President Elect and Conference Coordinator.  That means it's been incredibly busy and after this weekend, life gets a little easier.  Stress on "little".  Being a new father has really been exciting, incredibly tiring, a marathon - insert a variety of words here.

So three weeks left in the semester.  Fatherhood less than a trimester away.  Newest work finished - IMAGINARY CONVERSATIONS   Almost done with my latest attempt at a full length.  What's next, life?  BRING IT!

So the last production of APSU's season will be the classic Greek play Lysistrata directed by yours truly.  If you're in the area, please come.  Tickets will be on sale soon.

My latest production, Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, is running November 14 through the 18, at Austin Peay.  I'm so incredibly proud of these students.  A lot of talent on that stage.  

First three performances SOLD OUT!  BRAVO!

So we're half way through our run at the Roxy.  Audiences have been fantastic.  The cast and crew are so talented and so much fun with whom to work.  I hope if you are around Clarksville and looking for some theatre, you'll check it out!

So here's my first blog.  I've never considered myself a "Blogger".  Maybe this is the start of something big, or at least something that prevents me from doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
